• 2 oz Gin (We recommend the Botanist Gin which has a great herbal flavor)
• 6 oz Jeng & Tonic
• Garnish with Rosemary and Lime twist or wedge

Why is Gin & Tonic the Perfect CBD Cocktail?

CBD is a perfect pairing for a gin and tonic because gin is made with a variety of herbs including juniper and the herbal flavor makes it a perfect pairing for a cannabis extract  (cbd oil is made from cannabis extract) which contains many of the same terpenes (essential oils that give a plant its scent) as juniper. Juniper contains the following terpenes that are also found in most cannabis plants (and therefore most full spectrum cbd oils) α-pinene

·      Myrcene
·      Limonene
·      γ-terpinene
·      linalool
·      terpine-4-ol
·      geraniol
·      borneol)

α-pinene is found in rosemary and limonine is found in lemons and limes so they are the perfect garnishes for this cocktail.  Note: A little known fact-  lemon and lime peels also contain cbd.
